HEJDÅ (BYE) - gestured
first interjection. first evidence that he understood a swedish word. he waved 'bye' when i said 'hejdå' leaving a store. he hadn't yet waved 'bye' when i'd said 'BYE' in english.

ONE - gestured
first gesture! predictably held up one finger whenever 'one' was said, even quickly and without focus, in conversation, lyrics, or the book-reading.
